Ho Ho Ho! Winter is here and Christmas just around the corner. So why not warm up yourself with something hot, flavorful and cozy? Yes we are talking about tea! For this season, nothing is better than a delicious mulled tea. It’s simply Christmas in a mug! This easy recipe made of traditional mulling spices and orange slices will give your holiday a twist that you will love.

For mulled tea, all you need is:

  1. Water: (Pretty obvious)
  2. Black Tea: Loose leaf or tea bags…your choice! You can use our Good Morning blend, which is best for Mulled tea.
  3. Namastea Santa’s Secret Mulled spices

How to make:

This delicious tea is easy to make and has the added bonus of making your home smell amazing. Simply.

  1. Place water on stove (quantity depends on how many cups you want to make). Let it boil.
  2. Add Namastea Santa’s Secret Mulled spices and let it brew for 3-4 minutes and turn off the heat
  3. Steep a tea bag (if you like your tea to be strong, let it brew for 2-3 minutes, if you want it to be lighter, brew it for 2 minutes). Quantity should be according to 1 tea bag for 1 cup of tea.

If you are using loose leaf tea, 1 tea spoon is enough for 1 cup.

Now strain the tea in a tea pot and pour a warm cup of mulled tea, You can garnish tea with an orange slice. Get cozy and enjoy.

Customize it!

Make it Sweet: If you want to sweeten your tea, add some honey.

Orange lovers: If you love the flavor of orange, add few drops of orange juice in your cup.

Booze it: Make It Boozy: Add in a shot of rum, brandy or Grand Marnier for a spiked hot tea and there you go.
